Lyrics
High heels on the plaza
Click an early morning rhythm
She walks with quiet purpose
She is not afraid of living
The breeze blows beside her
Sun lights up the air
She passes by the bandstand
Her eyes are strong and clear
She knows the men are watching
She does not look our way
The rhythm of her heels is strong
She’s here to meet the day .
Meet the day
High heels on the plaza
Click an early morning rhythm
I'm here to drink my coffee
The city lets me listen
High heels on the plaza
Click an early morning rhythm
I'm here to drink my coffee
I am here to listen to
High heels on the plaza
